Famitsu has published another guide for Animal Crossing called Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Life with Design! It focuses on the customisation of your town and house. It’s a beautiful book with a nice simplistic design and lots of images. Great for inspiration and to flick through.

The first third of the book contains 17 designs for the area around your town and community projects, with QR codes at the back so you can copy the pathways. For the indoor room designs, there’s 29 room ideas ranging from an office look to spa to preschool! Each design lists the furniture needed, outfits that your character can wear to match the theme, and even an optional photo at the bottom if you wish to slightly change the theme.

The rest of the book lists the hairstyle and eye colour guide, a quick overview of the NPCs and stores, flower and room guide. There’s also a whole section on the remake items and what you can customise them into, exterior customisation, community projects, a music catalog and displays of wallpaper and floors.

While part of it may repeat for you if you already own a game guide, it may benefit you since the images are larger.

I wish there were more room designs but otherwise I’m really satisfied with buying it and can’t wait til I can all the items so I can make similar rooms!

I was checking Steam, and what do I see but “Early Beta Access to War for the Overworld”, which looks like a near-exact copy of Dungeon Keeper.

It’s installing now.

Hellz yeah.

I think it’s officially called “Bedrock”.

Maybe they’ll start remaking/updating other great games we enjoyed when we were little, too! c:
